On the night of a Full or Waxing moon, anoint a purple candle with vanilla oil. While anointing, raise energy and focus it into the candle. See it glow with magick! Light the candle and go outside or open a window where you can see the Moon. Place the candle on the ground or windowsill. Reach your arms out to the moon and say:
"Oh Dear
Goddess of love and light1
I ask for
your power on this night.
By the powers
of the stars above me,
So shall
it be."
Visualize your arms and hands soaking up the powers of the moon, and into your body Put out the candle and leave it on your altar overnight. The next morning, repeat the spell to the sun, with this chant:
"Oh Dear
Lord of the sky and sea,
Lend your
magick unto me.
By soil,
wind, flame, and sea,
This is
my will, so mote it be."
Soak up the powers of the Sun. Go to your altar, light the purple candle from the night before, and meditate on it until it burns out.
Look into the flame of a pink candle and say 3 times:
" Earth air
fire sea
let the
goddesses beauty
shine though
me "
Repeat as often as needed.

Take a white candle and some anointing oil. Depending on the desired result, you should have chosen an oil which corresponds to this end. At the time of the full moon, cast a circle or just shut yourself away from all distractions and with the moon shining on your working area (if possible. If this is not possible, just visualize the moon.)
Place the white candle (preferably
a taper) on the altar with the oil. Cast the circle if you wish.
Call the Goddess if it feels right. Now, anoint the candle. Should you
wish, you can use an athame to engrave the candle with the spell itself.
While you anoint the candle with the oil, speak these words out loud
or silently:
"Tonight
the moon,
Tomorrow
the sun.
Let this
power build til my will be done.
Candle burn
down to send my will.
This spell
be cast,
for good,
not ill"
Once you have anointed the candle, place it in a safe place so it can burn down completely, preferably in sight of the moon.

Time:
Disseminating or Waning moon
(if moon is not disseminating or waning, restrain yourself from candy and
unecessary goodies til the moon phase is right. This is not, after all,
an emergency spell.) Sunday Evening
Tools:
a red candle

a citrine, which is a good
stone for losing weight
Working:
Inscribe the red candle with
the symbols for Health/Healing and losing weight. Anoint the candle. Light
it, cup your hands around the flame and say:
"As the flickering
flame burns,
health and
balance to my body returns!
So mote
it be!"
Take up and rub the citrine crystal between your hands. Fast, fast. Maybe a power chant seems appropriate. This is to get the crystal "fired up". When the crystal is warm, close your projective hand around it (traditionally the right hand, but you may feel differently). Visualize yourself as you wish to become - stronger, slimmer, healthier, more powerful, more beautiful. See yourself eating better and exercising more. See yourself fit into old clothes. Send all these images into the crystal. When the crystal feels as if it is brimming with these positive thought forms, open your eyes and gaze into the flame of the candle. Feeling the energy from the crystal, fire off the same thought forms into the flame of the candle. This will send your wishes out to be fulfilled. You are done. Let the candle burn itself out! It is important that it gets to send all that energy off. If you cannot let the candle burn itself out right now, extinguish it and repeat the above formula when you relight it. Bury the stump from the candle when done, or throw it in a body of water.
TIP!
Take out the citrine and gaze
at it while visualizing the positive thought forms you sent into it during
the spell. This will increase the effect of the spell. Light a small red
candle and gaze through the crystal at the flame. Or just cup your hands
around it (not too close now, I don't want to be blamed for any burns...)
and draw in the healing and
encouraging energy. And whenever you feel tempted to take an unecessary
snack or buy candy, think of the citrine...
WEIGHT LOSS SPELL #2
The first rule of thumb is NO
SHOPPING IN THE SNACK AISLE!! These spells are intended to reinforce and
empower the path you have already chosen to lose weight. The first
spell is to be used in conjunction with weight loss plans that use diet
and/or exercise as a means to slim down. The second is a spell to increase
determination and willpower
for sticking to any plan and will help you meet your desired ends. It is
best to work both of these spells from the full moon to the waning moon,
in other words, during the time of decrease. As the crescent grows smaller
so will you.
POTATO SPELL
Ingredients:
Anise Seeds or Licorice
Potato
Potatoes are ruled by the moon
and endowed with the properties of protection and compassion. Working with
them counteracts the tendency to be unkind to yourself or drive yourself
too hard in your quest to lose weight. You want to ensure that you are
not harming your body in the process. Begin by peeling a potato and carving
into the surface the number of pounds you want to lose. Continue carving
the potato into a human form. Making potato poppets is a very old form
of magic known as sympathetic magic. Dating back to Paleolithic times,
sympathetic magick is a form of ritual based on the theory that an operation
or spell performed on the likeness or image of a real person will produce
the same results on the person as well. The doll or poppet becomes you.
Place a lock of your own hair on the head of the potato to create a magickal
link between you and the doll. Using a knife, mark the potato doll with
x's in all the places
you want to slim down.
Create a mouth using anise or licorice seeds. (Anise is a natural appetite
suppressant. You can also pop
some into your own mouth.) Keep the potato doll until you have reached
your goal. It is also recommended
to work this spell weekly and set a different goal for each week.
HOT STUFF SPELL
Ingredients:
Pepper Sauce
Celery Stalks or Carrots
Honey
Take a celery stalk and drizzle
a small amount of honey in it's center, along with three drops of pepper
sauce. As you eat the stalk visualize yourself being disciplined about
food and exercise,and sticking to your general weight loss plan. Also see
yourself feeling full and not craving sweets. As the celery becomes
smaller and smaller visualize yourself doing the same. Celery is a diuretic
and a good diet food. Honey is an appetite suppressant and reduces the
urge to eat sugar. Pepper is a commanding spice and can help you
to control your unhealthy urges. Ruled by planet Mars, the fiery
taste of hot peppers can be used as a mild controlling and compelling formula.
Do not eat more than three stalks a day. Carrots can also be used, as they
will increase your drive toward accomplishing tasks. They are ruled by
Mars and their orange color
represents the color of action.
WEIGHT LOSS CANDLE SPELL:
1 white candle
mrryh incense
Hold the candle in smoke til it smells like the myrrh. Then take a fire sterilized needle (straight pin), and etch the name of person, then etch "will lose (amount) pounds in a heathly way". Then burn the candle all the way down.
SIMPLE WEIGHT LOSS SPELL:
You need a clear quartz, smokey quartz, or any blue or green stone
Hold between palms of hands until hands are throbbing and stone feels hot with energy and heat while saying:
"Hail to
the gods and goddesses of the earth,
please help
this stone keep me on my quest to lose weight.
So shall
it be!"
After your stone is hot and your hands are throbbing (energy), visualize yourself as thin as you would like to be, and charge the stone. Keep the stone on you at all times unless you are asleep.

Banishing and binding spells can be very useful in ridding yourself of negative people and energies that they send into you're life. These spells, when done right, will often discourage the targeted person from contacting you and causing you any more harm or strife.
Binding
The purpose of this ritual
is to rid yourself of somebody who is mentally or emotionally abusing you.
It's similar to my banishing ritual.
Materials:
Cloth poppet, leave the head
unstitched until you are ready to begin the ritual
Needle and thread
Some personal item from the
person you want to bind (fingernail clippings, hair, handwriting sample)
Black ribbon
Black candle
Cauldron or other fireproof
container
Sterilized needle
Piece of paper and pen
One candle at each quarter
(optional)
Ritual:
Call the quarters - I like
to use candles at each quarter to form a circle of fire for extra protection.
Light the black candle Concentrating deeply on the person you are binding,
place the personal object inside the head of the poppet and sew it shut.
Tie the black ribbon around the poppet's head, signifying the binding of
that
person.
''With harm
to none, my will be done
I hereby
bind you (name of person)
Your words
cannot harm me
Your thoughts
cannot harm me
You cannot
harm me''
Continue chanting this or something like it until you feel power surging through you. Visualize the person helpless to slander or verbally and mentally abuse you while you are chanting.
Now, to bind the spell -
If you have a sigil or a Craft
name, sign it on the small piece of paper. If not, sign your own full name.
If others are working the ritual with you, they too should sign the paper.
With the sterilized needle, prick one of your fingers and put a small drop
of blood over your signature. Again, if others are working with you, they
should place a drop of blood over their signatures. (using a different
needle, of course) Fold the paper, light it on fire and drop it into the
cauldron (which should be on a heat-proof surface!). Meditate on the flames
until the paper completely burns away. If you are working with a group,
join hands at this point and feel the power surging around the circle as
the spell is bound. Ground and close the circle. Thank the Goddess
and God for their protection and power Discard the poppet as far away from
you as possible within the next few days.
Banishing spell
to be performed during the waning moon
Tools:
heatproof container or cauldron
black or white candle
basil and garlic (for uncrossing,

Cast the circle
Invocation of the God and Goddess
Statement of purpose
"I am here
to banish negative influences from my life.
Right now,
(name) is exerting an extremely negative force upon me. I ask for

and Goddess to assist me in banishing these forces and eliminating
his/her
destructiveness."
Consecrate the cauldron as follows:
sprinkle with salt water, recite:
"In the name
of the Lord and Lady I charge you to serve me within this circle.
I clear
you of all former influences and energies that you may be fit for the
workings
of Magick herein."
Do the same with the candle
On a piece of paper, write full name of person to be banished. Roll up and tie with black string. Sprinkle with salt water and recite:
"Thou creature
of paper.
By paper
made, by paper changed.
Thou art
not paper, but thou art negative influences in (person to be bound).
So mote
it be!"
Light the black candle. Burn the paper in the candle, visualizing all negative power over you vanishing in the flames and rising out of your world with the smoke Sprinkle basil and garlic over the flames and recite:

Find a whole sea shell on the
beach. Take it home with you and concentrate for a week on it while visualizing
him. Then arrange to hide it in his bedroom (under his bed is the best
place), and wait for him to run breathlessly into your arms.

Anger
Spell
From "The Spiral Dance" by

This spell needs to be done alongside flowing water - I suggest in a private corner surrounded by bushes at the side of a stream. Create your circle. Cup a black stone in your hands and raise it to your forehead, concentrate and send all your anger into the stone. Do this for as long as you can until you can do it no longer, then hurl the stone with all your might into the water and say:
"With this stone Anger be gone Water bind it No-one find it!"
Place your palms upon the ground
for a few moments to earth the power and allow your circle to fade. Now
go home and take care of yourself for you may feel depleted for a while,
but you will be better. Alternatively, you may feel great straight away.

Place the red, 1 white, 1 black and blue candels at the four quarters, then place the white and black on the left and right of the quarters, and finally place the silver in the center. Open the circle.

On a night when the moon is in a waning phase, write your name and the name of your bewitched lover on the side of a white votive candle. Anoint the candle with myrrh oil, light it, and say:
'I BURN THIS
CANDLE AS A TOKEN OF THE SPELL THAT BINDS OUR LOVE.
LET THIS
MAGICK NOW BE BROKEN BY THE POWERS OF THE GODS ABOVE.'
Allow the candle to burn itself out. After the leftover wax has cooled and hardened, wrap it in a piece of white silk, tie it tightly with a white ribbon, and then toss it into the sea or into a river.
You need:
*A pink candle*
Empower the candle before the
ritual.
*Self-love oil*:*
10 ml of almond oil as a base
pure essential oils that goes
into the almond oil base:
1 drop of myrtle (for love,
peace, harmony and for Astarte - btw, my personal goddess)
1 drop of vanilla (for love
and mental powers)
1 drop of rose (for love, healing,
protection and spiritual powers from a female aspect)
1 drop of cinnamon (for love,
healing, protection and spiritual powers from a male aspect)
1 drop of orange (for love
and the brave and self-assertive Leo aspect)
1 drop of jasmine (for the
loving and caring Moon and the Cancer aspects)
Prepare and empower the oil
before the ritual.
*Personal note:, If you can't
make the oil, as I usually can't afford to buy all these oils which are
pure essential, use an oil with similar qualities, you can have one made
up at a Witch shop, or use a few of the same oils to make you own, I have
mixed oils that were base and a single oil already mixed and it's been
fine, use Jasmine oil, rose oil and a drop of vanilla extract for example,
the key here is to find oils that have some of the same purposes and to
empower it.
*Self-love-magickal powder*:
herbs:
1 part dried rose petals
1 part cinnamon
1 part dried orange bloom petals*
a pinch of vanilla*
personal note: If you can't obtain orange blossoms, use dried orange peel, and if you don't have a vanilla bean to grind you can try orris root. Grind the herbs and empower the powder before the ritual.
*You also need *fresh pink rose petals* to sprinkle around the circle during the magick ritual and a *rose quartz crystal* you can wear as a charm.
Personal note: Again if you can't obtain fresh roses which can be expensive, use the dried ones you might have stored in jars, If you can't wear the rose quartz because you have no wire to wrap it, place it in a small magick bag so you can carry it with you.
Prepare a magick ritual and cast the circle as you usually do it. Anoint the oil to the candle (from top to the middle and then from the bottom to the middle as you want to attract self-love and self-respect to you) and place it on your altar. As you do this you can say or chant a verse, something like this:
"This is
what I now draw to myself:
Love and
respect for myself
In the name
of the Sun and the Moon
So mote
it be!"
Sprinkle the magickal powder around the pink candle on the altar and repeat the verse.
"This is

Light the pink candle and repeat the verse once again.

Anoint a drop of Self-love-oil
at the rose quartz and ask the crystal to help you to love and honor yourself.
Speak to yourself about how
unique, wonderful, beautiful and fantastic you are. Feel all those
good things inside you. Raise power. Move clockwise around the circle
(walk, dance, chant, whatever you feel like doing) and sprinkle the fresh
rose petals around the circle as you go. Raise more power. Focus on all
the good things inside you and on your beauty. When it feels right, release
the power and send it out in the Universe to get manifested. Return
to the altar. Rest for awhile, smell the roses!, meditate and open
your mind for the spirit guides
to perhaps give you advice or hints about how you could love and be good
to yourself. Do the grounding of energy and release the circle.
If you like, gather the rose petals that you've sprinkled around the circle in a small crystal bowl and place the bowl at your altar as a reminder of the ritual. Let the pink candle burn, or snuff it and light it during meditation for the following days until it is completely burnt and the spell comes true. Wear the rose quartz crystal as a charm or place it on the altar. Let it be a constant reminder of treating yourself in good ways and with respect, and of the great love for yourself that you are capable of.
Before practicing any love spells....If you want to enjoy all that love has to offer, begin by saying the following affirmation at least twenty times a day for one week:
I am a magnet for love,
Love is within me, without me,
Before me and behind me,
I AM LOVE.
At the end of the week you will
find that you feel stronger and more confident of your ability to attract
love. This is the time to get ready to experience the greaterst gift
the universe can give a human being....
An Aromatherapy Love Philter - The following heady blend of luscious essential oils is best burned in an aromatherapy oil burner. The blend is believed to be pleasing to the spirits of love... The recipe is based on a Caribbean love oil worn by young girls wishing to enchant their lovers.
To an oil burner full of water
add the following:
two drops of essential oil
of patchouli
two drops of essential oil
of orange
two drops of essential oil
of cinnamon
a hint of essential oil of
clove
If you wish to wear this blend of essential oils on your skin as a love perfume, add the specified number of drops of each to three teaspoons (15ml) of pure virgin olive oil and shake well.
Trouble with neighbours can be dealt with by magical means. The following is a magical warning that if the trouble continues, consequences will arise. The spell makes use of a very hot powder used to sprinkle over the threshold of front path of the neighbours home. Add a teaspoon of the following ingredients into a mixing bowl :
sulphur powder
black pepper
ground coffee
cayenne
pepper
garlic powder
mustard powder ( or ground
mustard seed)
a charred and powdered black
feather is optional
Mix the ingredients well while recalling the times you have felt anger towards the neighbours. Force the anger to surge up then leave, flowing through your hands and into the powder. Pour the enchanted powder into a small glass jar and close the lid. While unobserved, in the deepest darkness of night, sprinkle some of the powder over the threshold or front path of the neighbours house. Turn and leave without looking back. Once inside your own home, turn every mirror in the house toward the walls to send back all negative energy emanating from the hostile neighbours home. If the trouble continues, take a pinch of dirt or dust from the neighbours yard or a few strands on carpet (door mat) or a splinter of wood from the door step. Place the article in a square of black cloth together with the rest of the powder and an egg, upon which you have written the neighbours name or house address. Bury the bundle in the earth, well away from your own property. It is said that when the egg rots so too does the satisfaction of the neighbour, for this reason they will be compelled to depart for greener pastures.
to get rid of negative energy...
At the alter...
a cup of salt, fresh lemon,
athame
light white candles and protection incense, anoint brow, throat and heart with protection oil.
Put the lemon in the center of your alter and cut four slices (round).
Chant:
"All spells
against me congregate in this lemon,
that's your
fate. Sour spell to sour fruit,
you must
go there because it's your suit.
Bound to
this lemon evermore.
Each spell
against me, that's your store.
All in this
lemon, now I see, and as my will so mote it be!"
When you feel that all the negative energies have been captured in the lemon, sprinkle the salt on the lemon and chant:
"Uncrossed!
Uncrossed! This salt for me breaks up the attacking energy.
As lemon
dries in salt and air, I'm freed from all harm and dispair.
Uncrossed
and happy now, you see!!! And as my will so mote it be!!!"
Use lots of salt and when finished thank all the elements. Leave the lemon near your alter where you can watch it. If it dries out, your work is done. If it should mildew, repeat the ritual.
To see spirits, old European grimoires recommend mixing together aloe, pepper, musk, vervain, and saffron and burning this in a cemetery. We can adapt this for other locations (like those in which the spirit lived) by adding a bit of sweet grass or tobacco to a specially prepared incense. Create the incense on the anniversary of the death of the individual you wish to contact. This is then burned at 11 am, in the safety of a magic circle that also holds symbolic items to connect you to the entity. An incantation to encourage the spirit's presence is
"Guardians
of the Spirit realm, hear and guide my plea.
When the
witching hour rings true, bring my friend (loved one, etc.) ________ to
me.
Other souls
who hear my call are not welcome in this place.
Only the
one known as _____ may enter sacred space."
Repeat the request three times, twenty minutes apart, then wait quietly for indications of a presence. Signs include the scent of flowers or a favored cologne, a cool wind, movement of curtains, and candles going out or twitching erratically. Once you feel sure the spirit is with you, do not make it tarry overly long. Take care of your business, say farewell, and thank the guardians for their assistance.
