Charge and combine salt and water, using your preferred method. Then use the salt?  water mixture to anoint door jambs, windowsills, mirrors, etc., as you chant the following:

"Once with water, once with salt,
You cannot stay, you cannot cross.
Twice with water, twice with salt,
You cannot stay, you cannot cross.
Thrice with water, thrice with salt,
You cannot stay, you cannot cross."

I anoint each object 3 times, as I repeat the chant.  I have used this spell to ward homes, close mirror openings and similar for many years. I've been able to use it during all phases of the Moon, and it has
always worked very well for me.

NEED: One match or a Small candle(Black) Take the Match or candle and light it.  Wave match or candle lightly around so the flame flickers but doesn't completely go out.  Do this while chanting

"Burn, Burn (candle/match) burn,
as you burn, so shall all negatives in my life."

After saying this enough times, begin to increase the speed and then finally allow the candle/match to flicker out.

If you are facing a judgment in court, write down all possible verdicts on a piece of paper. With scissor or a knife, cut out only the desired conclusion while focusing your mind on a positive outcome. Carefully burn the unwanted portion, until nothing but ash remains. Release or bury this ash so it is symbolically "lost"
to you. Carry the other piece of paper into court, wrapped in gold cloth, as a protective amulet.

Protection From Disastrous Weather  (Submitted by Witchwoman 21/10/99)

Geranium petals will protect you from lighting strikes and snakebites.

Carrying a branch from a tree that has been struck by lightening is said to protect the carrier.

If outdoors, tapping a black stone against a white stone until you are indoors is said to create a magickal current that lightening cannot penetrate.

Burning a candle during a lightening storm will protect the home from lightening.

Burying flint at the four directions around your house (this must be done clockwise) will protect against lightening.

A small bag containing chips from a lightening struck tree hanging above the door or buried at the four directions will protect the home.

Lightening will not strike a house on barn inhabited by swallows.

Mistletoe offers a variety of protection against lightening (preferably mistletoe growing naturally on your property). It can be carried in the pockets for personal protection. It can be tied to a doorway for protection of a house or barn. It can also be hung on a farm animal for their protection (cows are often stuck by lightening).

To protect against tornadoes, take a sharp knife and place it in the ground blade upwards (CAUTION!) in the southwest corner of your property or in a southwest window. Folklore states that the knife will magickally cut the tornado as it approaches so that it misses the house/property. If you believe that it will be a very bad tornado (larger than most) you can place more than one knife across the southwest boundary.

A large cauldron or barrel in the southwest corner is said to "confuse" a tornado and cause it to catch its tail inside which will dissipate it before it reaches your property.

Geraniums on the southwest edge of your land can also provide protection against storms.

Acorns thrown on the roof before it rains to prevent hail damage.

Ingredients:

green or pink cloth
some love incense
rose petals, elder flowers, yarrow, ginger, and thyme
rose oil
a moonstone
a lodestone
a white stone
some green stones
3 pink candles and 1 magenta candle
a picture or statue of a cat or dove
cauldron
ritual knife
Procedure:

Place your altar facing West. Cover it with a green or pink cloth.  Light the love incense. Sprinkle your altar with rose petals and elder flowers. Place a lighted pink candle at each end of the altar, and a picture or statue of a cat or dove in the rear center beside a lighted magenta candle.

Set the cauldron in the center with an unlit pink candle inside it.  Sprinkle equal parts of rose petals, yarrow, and thyme around the cauldron. Place your green stones along white one, the moonstone, and the lodestone in the circle of herbs. Now draw an invisible circle with your wand or power finger around your altar and working area.

With your ritual knife, carve your desires into the cauldron candle. Anoint it with rose oil. "Feed" this candle your desires with your hands.  Light it and say:

    "Candle of power, candle of might,
    Create my desires here on this night.
    Power stream from this candle's fire.
    Bring to me my heart's desire.
    My words have strength,
    The victory is won.
    So I say. This spell is done."

Put a pinch of ginger on the altar for the Water Elementals, saying:

    "Children of Water, small ones of Light,
    Join with my spelling here on this night.
    Decreed by the Mother (or the name of your favorite love deity),
    Felt in my heart.
    Bring us together, never to part."

Raise your arms and open your heart to the deity. Explain her your need for a true love.

To end the ritual, say:

    "Blessings to all who come to my aid.
    Between friends is this bargain made."

Snuff out the two end candles, leaving the magenta and cauldron candle to burn out. Delay clearing the altar until the candles have burnt out completely. Sprinkled the circled herbs onto the ground as an offering
to the Nature Spirits, or put them in a small cloth bag to carry with you. Give them to the Elementals during the next Full Moon.

You need a brown candle, controlling oil, parchment paper, and a black pen.

Lady Ravens Lair

The following hoodoo lodestone spell can be used for drawing anything you want, whether it is money, romance, sex, marriage, a new car, business success, a child, a job, the return of a lost lover, or you-name-it.

You need one large lodestone, a china plate, a packet of magnetic sand, some sort of drawing oil, and a piece of paper torn from a brown grocery sack. Write your wish on the paper, being as specific as possible about your wants, and sign it with your name. Get a picture of what you desire (a drawing, a photograph, or even an advertisement torn from a magazine). If your desire is for more money, use a dollar bill as your "picture" and add it to your written wish.

Anoint the four corners of the wishing paper and the picture or money, either with a general drawing oil such as Attraction Oil, Fast Luck Oil, or Lodestone Oil, or with a specific condition-drawing oil for your particular purpose, such as Love Me Oil, Come To Me Oil, Follow Me Boy Oil, Lavender Love Drops, Money Drawing OIl, or Reconciliation Oil.

Place the wishing paper and the picture or money on the plate and set the lodestone on top. Pray over the lodestone, stating your wish clearly, and then feed the lodestone with a pinch of magnetic sand. The idea is to get the lodestone to understand your wish and to work on your behalf, drawing the desire toward you. When you have finished praying, put the plate and everything on it away where no one will see it, perhaps under your bed or in a drawer.  Every day take out the plate with the lodestone and papers, pray over it, and feed the lodestone with magnetic sand, stating your wish clearly. When your wish comes true, thank
the lodestone respectfully and bury it in your yard with its magnetic sand and all the papers, still on the plate.

Take a small mirror and lay it down, so it reflects up at you. Then take a bowl of water (preferably a glass or silver bowl, but any bowl will do.

HINT: If using a ceramic bowl, plain is best. You should use a bowl with pictures on it only if you have to (unless they are hieroglyphs). ONLY USE PLASTIC BOWLS IF YOU ABSOLUTLY HAVE TO.).

Put the bowl of water in the center of the mirror, and surround the mirror with candles (this spell should be done in a dark room, or at night). The spell works best if the candles are vanilla or lavender. There should be four candles, one at each corner of the mirror (or, if using a round mirror, one at each of these points: Northeast, Northwest, South east, Southwest).

In between the candles, on the North, East, South, and West sides of the mirror, put incense burners (the spell can work without the incense, but it works better with it). Put a small piece of silver (it can be a coin, a piece of a fork, anything) in the bowl. Look down at the mirror, and chant this:

    "Mirror, Mirror, on the floor,
    reflect for me forevermore,
    give me now the thing I crave,
    I'll give it back when I'm in my grave,
    A pool of water,
    A touch of ice,
    a teardrop from the moon,
    all this I have and all I want,
    Is this......"

Then you say what you want.

Halloween-design material to make small sachet bags (or you can buy pre-made sachet bags from a craft store and decorate)
4 tablespoons dried lavender buds (love, protection, restful sleep)
20 whole cloves (love and protection)
4 tablespoons dried rosemary (protection and love)
1/2 teaspoon dried orange peel (love)
1 sunflower seed for each sachet (wisdom)

Mix lavender, cloves, rosemary, and orange peel together in a small bowl.  Hold your hands over the bowl of herbs and say:

    "From mother moon and father sun
    From autumn breezes carrying angel prayers
    I empower these herbs to bring protection and love
    To whoever holds them between clasped hands
    And prays for a restful sleep."

Hold your hands over the herbs until your hands grow warm.  Fill the sachet bags, then empower the sunflower seeds, saying:

    "From mother moon and father sun
    From autumn breezes carrying angel prayers
    I empower these herbs to bring protection and love
    To whoever holds them between clasped hands
    And prays for restful sleep."

Tie up sachets, reaffirming with each sachet:

    "From mother moon and father sun
    From autumn breezes carrying angel prayers
    I empower these herbs to bring protection and love
    To whoever hold them between clasped hands
    And prays for restful sleep."

The recipe will make approximately 7 to 10 small sachets.

You will need:
1 orange candle
annointing oil (frankincense, cinnamon or rosemary)
incense (frankincense, cinnamon or rosemary)

Annoint the candle with the oil, focusing on being as radiant as the Sun, and accomplishing your goal successfully. See yourself as abundantly creative, and make a wish for accomplishing a specific creative project. Write down on a small piece of paper what you wish for ... and put the piece of paper under the candle, and as you light it, say:

    "May this or something better now manifest
    in accordance with the highest karmic good for all concerned."

Let the candles burn as you visualize your goal.

You can repeat this for several days, up until the Full Moon, but let the candles burn all the way down on the last day. Keep the slip of paper on your altar, in a special small box, or in a medicine bag to be worn around your neck.

ingredients:
thyme (courage),
marjoram (happiness),
cinnamon (money),
quartz  crystal (empowered for all purposes)

Cleanse self and space. Cast Circle. Hand sew a small piece of white fabric into a small pouch, leaving the open. Make sure that you sew with power.   Empower the Herbs and the crystal. Say out loud

    "From this charm I create,   only courage, happiness and money are to follow.
    In no way shall this spell reverse, or place upon me any curse.
    This is my will, so mote it be."

Keep this amulet in your bag or pocket. It may need to be topped up with more empowered herbs and crystals after about 6 weeks

To stop an enemy from bringing harm, here is what you must do, procure a special oil, of  Dragon's blood and Rue. Add to it a pinch of poppy, nightshade and some thyme, add to that three tiny drops, of some bitter wine. Anoint a black candle with your victim's name and seal it with an "X", then chant these words most carefully, to send forth this darksome hex:

     "Darksome powers of the night,
     gather round my candle's flame,
     send my enemy in shaded flight,
     send my enemy away in shame."

Say this chant 13 times, on the darkest moon, The Old Ones then will hear your plight and will grant your boon.

You need an envelope, a candle (preferably green), a dollar bill (1's 5's 10's it don't matter),

In a quite place where you will not b disturbed place the dollar bill in the envelope and seal it closed with wax. Write the name of the person you are sending it to on the envelope and hold it to your forehead and
say:

    "I call upon the gaurdians of the east, angels of air."

 ((Pause and take a deep breath))

    "Angels of Air, hear my call send this to the one who deserves it all.
    Every dollar has it's day, every penny is worth a dime, give this to
    ((Name)) in swift time."

If  you're not sending to anybody in particular say 'the one who needs it most" instead of a name. Burn the envelope and place the ashes on your altar until the full moon and throw them into the wind or place
them on an outside altar or flat place and let the wind blow it away. You'll know when the money arrives to them.

Merry we meet and merry we part until merry we meet again!

Procedure:
Drop the pinch of salt into the glass of water saying

    "Beauty be within me.
    Beauty now set me free."

Carve the symbol of sex into the red candle. Carve a mirror symbol into the light blue one. Light the two candles, first the light blue one and then the red. Lay the mirror between the two candles and scry into your
reflection. Drop the rose petals, one by one onto the mirror. After this is done, drink
the water and say,

    "Beauty, beauty come to me.
    Beauty, beauty set me free."

Let the candles burn down all the way

Goal:

To perform an organized introspection, and design a plan to achieve increased self love and confidence. To become more aware of your perception of yourself, and it's role in your life.

Supplies:

You will need a notebook, journal or pieces of paper and colored markers thin enough to write legibly with. You may wish to light a candle (pink for self love or white for truth) and/or incense of your choice.

Location/Best Time:

Make sure you have a couple of hours set aside for this exercise. Go to a place where you feel comfortable (inside or out) and where you will not be likely to be interrupted or overly distracted. A good time to
perform this would be on a gibbous moon, as part of your winter starting a new year celebration or your Birthday.

Ritual/Procedure:

On the first page of you notebook, fill up the page as much as you feel like with the "bad" things or traits you'd like to change about yourself, or habits and traits you don't like, fears and insecurities you would be rid of, whatever. For this page use a red marker, or the color that feels right to you.

On the next page write the "good" things, your qualities, what makes you unique, your strengths and values, interesting abilities, skills, talents etc. Try to fill up the page. Feel free to take as long as you
like. Use a green pen, or whatever feels right to you.

Take some time now to ground and center.

Go back and look at the negative list. This time pretend to belongs to your best friend. Try to look at these qualities form this new,perspective. Are all of these things so terrible? In light of the good things, do some of them really matter? Try to pick out the things that are not that important, are not necessarily negative, or that don't bother you that much. You can release these things first. Draw a line through these in another color, and say aloud

    "I accept myself ______".

(I accept myself having big thighs, I accept myself talking too much.).

Now go through it again, with another color of pen and underline those things you have the power to change. For example if you think you don't socialize enough, you smoke, you lose your temper too easily, etc.  Circle those things you can change (circling them symbolizes your power to change these items), On a new sheet of paper list these things, and a target date. Try not to overload yourself and make all the changes immediately. Changing patterns is hard but rewarding work.

Back to the things that are not marked out or circled. Are there any left? If not, great, skip the remainder of this paragraph. What are these things? Is it possible you really can change them? Sometimes our
own limiting thought patterns convince us that we "have no choice" thus making us feel like victims. Reexamine these items if you have any.

Acknowledge the choices, even if they are impractical, for example, if you are staying in a job you don't like because you don't think you could make that much money at a different job, acknowledge that you are
choosing to stay in the job, and getting paid well to put up with the crap. Positively frame the things you are choosing not to change. It feels empowering just to know you do have a choice, even if you are
choosing not to take any of them. Now go back again, are there truly some things you have no choice about? Like your short, etc. If so, can you learn to accept these things? If a loved one was telling you about
this shortcoming, how would you counsel them? If need be, underline the items and design a ritual to embrace/accept those things which are unchangeable.

Now go to your positive sheet. If it is not totally full, write on it some nice things people have said about you. Read the list aloud, saying each as an affirmation. For example if you put down that you are a
painter say aloud "I am a talented artist," You may want to write these in the form of affirmations on a new sheet of paper.

Read them all aloud, and try to consider each. Some of these may be hard to really believe. Add on at the end. "I deserve to be whole and happy." Put this page, and your list of self help goals in a place where you can review them periodically (monthly?) Make sure to read aloud the affirmations regularly until you can truly believe them all. This is most effective if you can memorize a few of them and then look at yourself in the mirror while saying them. Have patience with yourself, we have our while lives to grow into great tree we want to be.

A binding spell is the act of grasping the negative energy that is propelling a person or thing & stopping it. In a way, you are negating the unhealthy energy.  The most important thing to remember when conducting a binding spell is that you must control your own violent emotions of hatred or fear. The binding spell is for protection only, not for harm. This is not easy.  The Goddess to be employed is Aradia, Queen of Witches. Be sure you are honest in your intentions. Aradia's symbol is the red garter. If you desire justice call upon Maat, she who balances the scales. However, you must be sure that your own hands are free from violence & hatred, lest she weighs the scales for you as well! Her symbol is the pure white feather.

The binding itself is a very simple matter. A poppet can be sewn to represent the malicious person. Fill it with earth (grave dirt if you can find it), rosemary, sage, a piece of smokey quartz & a piece of
amethyst. Also enclose a piece of the person's fingernails, a lock of hair, or another personal item. Handwriting can be inclosed if you have nothing else. Photos can be used also. If your intention at any time during the ritual is to harm that person, remember that you will only bring harm upon yourself - so be very, very careful.

If you can't do the ritual right away, store the doll (with the head still open) in a white cloth. During the ritual, you will sew up the head while connecting a psychic link. Then you will proceed to sew arms
& legs of the doll together. You will finish by wrapping the doll mummy-fashion with a black ribbon. Bury the doll when you have completed the ritual.

A person can also be bound using mental capabilities. Placing a sample of a person's handwriting & copper tightly in an old bell jar is a way of stopping malicious gossip. When the danger is over, burn the handwriting.
