Place the candle on top of a photograph of the sick person, and then light the wick. As the candle burns down, concentrate upon the person in the photograph, willing him or herto be well again, and chant the following incantation:
"MAGICK MEND AND CANDLE BURN,SICKNESS END; GOOD HEALTH RETURN"
When to do it: During
the waxing moon (from new moon to first quarter)
What you do:
Using the pen, inscribe the
name of your book with an arrow on each side of it pointing to it into
the candle (up and down). Figure out your lucky book number. To do this,
take the number of pages in your book and add the digits together (for
example, if your book had 256 pages you would add 2+5+6). The outcome is
your lucky book number. Light the candle and chant the following as many
times as your lucky book number (example, if your lucky book number is
12 then you would chant it 12 times).
"My book,
___name of book___, is the one I'm sending off I've worked and
slaved over
it, please let my talent be enough. Please let the publisher read
it and love
it By the power of this candle I have lit So Mote It Be!"
Now drop a pinch of the cinnamon
into the flame of the candle using your right hand and drop a pinch of
the basil into the flame with your left (do both these movements in one
quick movement). Hold your manuscript above the flame (careful not to burn
it) and let it absorb the energy. When you are sure it is empowered, put
the manuscript (and anything else you are sending with it) into the envelope
you are going to send it off in, seal it, address and stamp it. Blow or
snuff out the candle. You should send your manuscript
off as soon as possible.
Note: This spell is not intended to be used on someone. It is a general spell to be sent out to the universe, so you can find your mate. It will not make someone love you.
Preparations
Create an oil consisting of
1/8c. unscented oil (safflower or sunflower),mixed with enough rose geranium
and lavender to create a pleasant scent. Blend these in a clear glass jar.
Empower the oil to the cause of finding love. Rub well onto a Pink candle.
The Ritual
To empower the oil, focus on
the jar, and think of the feelings of love. Contentment, commitment, joy,
etc. Allow this love energy to flow into the oil. At a quiet moment,
when you know you will be around long enough for the candle to burn fully,
say the following prayer, and light the candle.

Place some Mistletoe(golden bough) in a small box, also place a gold coin and some gold glitter in there. Seal the box with green wax and place it under your bed or next to a cash register.

over drawn hearts. Wrap paper around petals and throw into the fire.

This is a fairly simple spell to prepare your heart for love. It will not make Tom from the hardware store suddenly fall madly in love with you, and it will work very slowly or not at all if you do not have a loving feeling towards yourself. You will need:
A pink candle
A candleholder
Annointing oil A pink,
white or red cloth of natural fibre (cotton,
linen, silk)
A glass or cup of water (not
plastic)
A stylus or stick with a sharp
point
Gather all the items you need
into a space where you will not be disturbed and can get comfortable. (It
is nice to use your altar space
if you can, but I think physical
comfort is integral to this spell.) Prepare as you would for any ritual,
in the way most comfotable to you. Lay out your altarcloth on a flat,
solid surface and place the candleholder in the center of it. Using the
stylus or other sharp tool,
mark the candle with words
and symbols that make you think of love, explaining each one aloud to yourself.
Annoint the candle, saying:
"I will see
the true light of Love,
I will know
the true light of Love,
I will love
in the true light of Love!"
(Repeat at least three times)
Place the candle in the candle
holder. Now take a deep drink of the water and visualize Love being poured
into you. Light the candle.
As you stare into the flame
of the candle, visualize a warm pink glow coming from it. Now touch or
annoint yourself while chanting:
"I open my
heart, (heart chakra)
I open my
mind, (third eye-middle of forehead)
My eyes
are open to Love, (eyelids or temples)
And Love
will come!"
(Repeat at least three times.)
If you are skyclad, you can
annoint yourself with the same oil as the candle, if you prefer to work
clothed, you will probably want to
annoint with spirit only. When
annointing near the eyes with oil, be very careful not to get oil in your
eyes! Visualize a warm pink glow in these three centers growing, then expanding
to meet the glow from the candle and growing around you to surround your
being in a glow of Love. This Love bubble will go with you out into the
world and attract Love to you! To finish the spell, take another deep drink
of water and again visualize the liquid Love. Snuff out the candle (don't
blow!) and wrap it carefully in your altar cloth.
Repeat this ritual (you don't have to do the candle dressing again, but do repeat the incantation while setting up and lighting the candle) For the first three nights after the new moon and every Friday for a full moon cycle. After this time, wrap the candle in a piece of pink or white natural cloth or paper and bury it or place it in a living body of water.
If performed properly, Love
will come to you by the next moon cycle.
