Collect the burned wicks or left over wax if there is any in a cloth handkerchief.

water and throw it into its depths and do not look back. As an alternative,

This is folk-magic, and it works. It can only be performed in Fall, when
the black walnuts are ready to harvest. Because it is perfomred naked,
in the dark, it is not suitable for everyone.
You will need:
* a piece of paper from a brown paper bag, freshly torn
on all four sides
* a small pencil with no eraser on it
* matches
* a black candle -- it can be a plain offertory candle,
a taper, or a figural candle of a human being.
* black powder incense to which you should add Valarian
Root, Red Pepper, and Mullein Leaves. (If you cannot find plain black powder
incnese and those herbs, use an herb-based mixture containing them, such
as Black Arts Incense.)
* nine black walnuts still in their green husks. You
will probably have to go into the country for this -- they are not sold
in stores.
* a silver-coloured metal bowl.
Place the walnuts in the bowl. Undress at midnight on
a might when the moon is dark. Take all the supplies into your bathroom.
In the dark, with no light, write your ex-lover's name
on the piece of paper, and say

this is the last time i will
write your name!"
Light the candle and use the candle to light the incense.

Melt wax from a red candle and let it cool only until
it is still malleable. Place it in a bowl while you take three of the following
herbs: Rose, dill, daisy, hibiscus, licorice, rosemary,

on your need for love. Knead the wax, adding a pinch of the herb mixture

Emotional Upset - Amethyst

the point of severe mental problems, or when in any unstable condition,
go to a place outside where you can be alone. Hold an amethyst in your
left hand. Pour out all your feelings, your emotions, from your body through
your arm, out your palm and into the stone. Feel every pain,
every emotional low, every hurt. Send it into the stone with all the force
of your innate magical abilities. When the stone is nearly
bursting with negativity, throw it with as much force as you can muster.
Scream, howl, choke out a shout as you throw the stone. As you hand releases
the amethyst, release the hurt as well. Know that it is in the stone, that
it is outside you, that it is now alien to you.
Calm down, breathe deeply, meditate for a few moments. Thank the earth
for its help, then turn around and leave your problems behind you.
The earth will absorb the hurt, leaving the stone free, but never bring

A gentle cleansing tincture can be
made by placing an aquamarine in a glass of fresh water. Let this sit in

Place a piece of azurite between two
white candles in a darkened room. Light the candles. Hold the azurite in
you hand until it is warm, emptying you mind of thought. Close your
eyes until you feel the azurite's soft, slow energies touching your hand.

Divination - Hematite
In a darkened room, light a red candle.
Settle before it and hold a large piece of hematite so that the candle

Money Spell - Tiger's Eye
Take a bill of the highest denomination
you have. Rub it completely with the tiger's eye, then tightly wrap the
bill around the stone. Tie the bill firmly to it with green thread and
carry in your pocket to increase your money. Don't spend the bill until

Love Spell - Chrysocolla
Place a piece of chrysocolla in your
hand. Visualize it attracting a love to you. Place the stone in a small
red or pink cup half-filled with water. In this place three red roses.

Place a round mirror on the altar
or behind it so you can see your face within it while kneeling. Place two
green candles on either side of the mirror. Light the candles. Empower
the opal with your need for beauty. While holding the stone, gaze into
your reflection. With visualization, mold and form your face and body to
the form you desire. Carry or wear the opal and dedicate yourself to improving
your appearance.
A spell to restore balance

Make a small Altar for each Element, using the following
as a guide to colours of Altar cloth, and items to represent
the Elements:
Earth - South, browns, dirt, salt, rocks, stones, crystals.
Fire - North, red, candles, dragons, Sun symbols.
Water - West, blue, bowl or glass of water, mermaids,
fish.
Air - East, white, incense, kites, balloons, angels and
fairies.
Work out which of these Elements are creating the imbalance in your life, by using some of the examples below:
Too much Fire: Anger, jealousy, hatred, too much passion.
Too much Air: Lack of attention, head in the clouds,
not thinking.

All purpose wish spell (By Obsidian)
Take a sheet of beeswax, the kind you roll up to make a candle, as that is what you are going to do. Cut a length of wick (Or you can use twine, but proper candle wick works better.) 1cm longer than the width of the wax sheet. Write the wish you have on a piece of thin paper (smaller than the beeswax sheet) using these or similar words:
My wish is this:
....(to get a job etc.)...................,
For the good of all, and if it harm none
Please Goddess, grant me this wish.
It is my will, it shall be done!
Place the paper in the centre of the wax sheet, Place the wick at the end you will start rolling from, and fold the wax over the wick, then begin rolling the sheet as tight as you can including the paper, to form a candle. Making sure that the wick pokes out about 1 cm from the top. Light the candle and say these or similar words:
Goddess, as this candle burns,
Grant my wish, for it is true.
With perfect love and perfect trust,
I send this wish up to you.
Watch the flame, and imagine the wish floating up to Heaven
with the candle smoke. You can burn the candle completely now, or
you can burn it for a few minutes each day until there is no more candle
left. Let the Goddess have time to work on the wish, and if you do
not receive your wish, maybe it was never meant to be.
Take a piece of cloth, which is a colour that represents the situation, ie. Green for Money, Pink for love. The more wrinkles in the cloth the better. You may like to wash the cloth and let it dry wrinkly. Write on the cloth with a pen, texta or if you are feeling crafty, you may like to embroider the words on. Use these or similar words:
Goddess, I am confused about ....(the situation)....
Please ease my mind, and soothe my heart.
Grant me your wisdom to see the right path,
In your name, so mote it be!
Now take an iron, and iron the cloth until it is smooth. If you have used embroidery cotton to write the words, make sure you can iron directly over it, by testing a small section first. As you iron, say these or similar words:
As I iron, wrinkles go,
Confusion out, it will be so!
When you have finished ironing the cloth, place it folded
under your pillow, and repeat the last part of the spell each day
until
you feel the situation is 'straightening out'
You cannot make someone love you if they do not, However,
you can perform a spell to bring LOVE into your life, and you
can perform a spell to ask the Goddess that if it is
right that you and the one you like be together, can she bring you
both
together.
Take a pink or red candle and write in it your name.
Take another pink or red candle (the same colour as your candle)
and write in it the name of the person you wish to be together with.
Take a white candle and write in it all the qualities you wish for
in a partner, like Kindness, Strength, sense of humour, etc.
Rub a little Rose oil into each candle, and place them in a triangle
with your candle at the top, and the other two equal distance apart,

Point your Athame at the sky, and then at the earth. Then
pointing Athame horizontally either spin 360 or walk around the perimeter
with the Athame held out in a threatening manner. Spirits of evil, Unfriendly

Goddess and the God may enter. Go, or be cast into the outer darkness!

the perimeter with salt and water.
This is time consuming, but worth the effort. This spell is best performed on the night of the black moon. All the day before the spell, dress in black and wear charms dedicated to Hecate. Pick dandelions to decorate the altar.
You'll want to make this poppet a few days before
you perform the spell. Make the poppet from wax. You can either
get molding wax from a craft store or cast the figure from wax.
To do this, make a frame from aluminum foil in the shape of a person.
Put
the frame on something wax won't stick to.
I use a big Rubbermaid dish with a flat bottom. Melt your wax
in a double boiler and pour it into the frame.
Let it cool. It will get to the point where it is solid, but still soft, so you can mold it a little with your hands. As you make the poppet, imagine your subject before you. Think of all the awful things he or she has done. Work yourself into a fury. When the poppet is finished, you may attach some personal object to it or affix a photo of the person or his or her signature. Now sit down and write nine couplets about what you would like to inflict on the person. For example:
"may she be unable to save dollar or cent as soon as it's earned, her money is spent"
On the night of the black moon, cast your circle and call forth Hecate. Burn an incense for her and light a black candle. Say:
"Great Goddess Hecate
Goddess of the dark
I come this night to beseech
the justice you impart
I have been wronged, Lady
Victim to another's misdeed
It is not vengeance that I want
Only justice that I seek
I hold this poppet before me

Then, say each of your nine curses as you stick a NEW (never used for anything else) pin into the poppet in an appropriate place. Be careful not to let the pins touch one another--this can send the curses back to you. Let yourself get emotional as you do this. Shout out your curses as though you were saying them directly to your subject. When you are done, say:
"As every action has its effect
I take responsibility for this deed
And all the reactions to follow it
By Hecate's will, so mote it be."
Prick your finger and sign your name (your craft
name) in blood on a piece of parchment or rice paper. Wrap this paper
with the poppet in a clean white cloth. Then, wrap that up in another
cloth. (It's very effective if you have some of that person's
clothing or an article of clothing that he or she gave to you). Once
again, calm yourself and perform a protection ritual. Be sure to
thank Hecate for her kind attention to your request. Bury this poppet
away from your home, preferably just after a rain.

Take a red or pink pen/pencil or texta and surround the name with a love heart, saying:
"I wish that __(Person who cast spell)___ finds love and happiness, From someone who loves them with their own free will."
Place the paper under the candle holder holding the candle that represents the person who cast the spell. Light the candle, saying:
"This candle represents ____(person who cast the spell)____"
Light the candle that represents the person who had the spell cast on them, saying:
"This candle represents _____(Person effected)____"
Take a pair of scissors and hold them as if going to cut the ribbon, saying:
"If this person has cast an unwanted
love binding spell on ____(person effected)___,
Let it be broken now, leaving ____(person
effected)___ free."
Cut the ribbon, and say:
"The binds are now broken,
So Mote it be!"
A Variation - Spell to be rid of an unwanted love interest (By Obsidian)
Take a candle to represent the person who likes you - use a colour which you feel is appropriate. Take a candle to represent you - use a colour which you feel is appropriate (your favourite colour, or a colour that appeals to you). Place these candles in candle holders about 4 inches apart. Take a length of red ribbon, and tie the two candles together, saying:
"This ribbon represents the love
that ___(person't name) has for me.
I wish this person no harm,
But I wish to stop these feelings,
Leaving ____(person)____ free to
find someone better suited to them."

On a smallish piece of paper draw
a tongue sticking out of a mouth and a knife going through the tongue from
top to bottom. This is to "pin down" a wagging tongue. Beneath
the drawing, write: "The gossip, lies, and back stabbing stop here."

This spell is best done during a waning moon. Light the incense and collect a bit of ash as it burns. Put a dash of nutmeg and cinnamon into a cup of purified water. As you do this say:
Spice for success,
Spice to heal.
Drape the ribbon over the pack of cigarettes. Sprinkle the carton with a bit of incense ash and say:
A sandalwood contract,
A ribbon to seal.
Drink the nutmeg, water, and cinnamon. After you've finished, repeat the following words:
By the power of fire,
Of earth, air, and sea,
I bind this addiction
And set myself free.
As I will it, so may it be.
Wear the ribbon as an anklet, necklace,
or bracelet until the addiction is broken.
You will need:
A strand of your enemies hair
A strand from yourself
A potplant (of any kind)
Tie the strands together 9 times
while chanting each time "hairs intertwined, bitterness left behind".
Bury the hairs in the soil of
the potplant and tend to it everyday
to promote growth. Do not doubt that you will make up in some way
